hello all,
If you noticed, in add/remov programs or I'm using Ccleaner rather to control my installed programs, thereis net.framework 1.1, net framework 2.0, net framework 3.0, + for me czech language packages.
Is it possible to uninstall framework 1.1 and 2.0 and keep only latest version? because it takes quite enough of disk space. Are frameworks 1.1 and 2.0 contained in 3.0?
I'll don't do anything now - my system is good condition and don't like restoring it - I used to restore it once per month.
pls, post your experience.

I'd remove 1.1 and 2 keeping 3 and running a good registery clean afterwoods. But I do remember someone complaining to me once that after I told them to take 1.1 off in favour of 2 an application that had previously installed 1.1 stopped working but hopefully they will have fixed that in 3.

no, do not remove the dot net frameworks, any versions. this comes from personal problems with the dang things. trust me, leave that stuff alone. only vista machines can get away without 1.1 since they have most of that in it already.

I see, thanks.
I didn't removed anything, but I reinstalled my system - that doesn'¨t have anything with frameworks.
I simply must do it once per moth or two.
I'm big experimenter.
